Zaphub.com beta is live. 34 languages, plus colorblind support. 8 feeds: notes, reels, videos, photos, music, blogs, podcasts, and live streams. 5 new nostr events: spotlight, timezone, my other npubs, relationship, and family. (proposed, open for review): Wallet: a no-KYC, self-custody Lightning wallet on every account. Payments between Zaphub wallets are free; regular Lightning zaps may pay a small network routing fee. Email accounts can self custody nostr keys. You can also login with a passkey, fingerprint, and hardware keys. Set a PIN, TOTP, or passkey, and decide what's required to reveal your keys or take destructive actions. A device manager shows every signed-in device and lets you revoke them. Your media stays private: uploads go to Zaphub's own media server, and every file is stripped of EXIF and location data before it leaves your device, so a photo never carries where it was taken. Images are proxied through Zaphub, so the host never sees your IP. Offline cache, plus a personal backup file. Audio rooms are end-to-end encrypted. Your IP doesn't leak your IP to others, room messages live in memory and die with the room. Private messages with voice clips using nip-17 with nip-04 fallback support. This is day one of beta. Desktop should feel smooth; some mobile devices may still be rough. There's a tracker built in the app's support page, no outside account needed. I'll be hands-on through launch, happy to help. Upcoming Updates - Android, iOS, and PWA coming after device compatibility fixes. - phone push notifications and call support - MoonPay for buying sats in-app (pending partner whitelist and testing) - Accessibility: screen-reader (ARIA) support, and turning off text-select where it gets in the way - Guides: a short series with experienced nostr creators explaining the network - A public roadmap
