So if I create a small group, it will remain a small group and perform poorly when it grows to 10k users? No transition logic to big group? Makes sense.

Yes. Keychat’s small groups use a pairwise model. For example, in a 5-member group, when someone sends a “group” message, it is essentially four separate one-to-one messages—one sent individually to each of the other members. It only appears as a group chat at the UI level.
