We have avoided using any fertilizers or poisons on our property and as a result, we are prolific in dung beetles.
It's a beautiful thing to see the soil so alive.

We've got them here too. Most important workers on the farm. It's amazing how fast they get to work after a ---ermm--"deposit".
We had none on the land. Turns out cowpies don't do much for the soil if they just sit on top of the ground for months.
We bought some dung beetles last year. Not sure yet if they've established.
