I rewatched The Matrix again and I don’t think it’s a bitcoin movie as some like to say. It is, but only in the sense that you could insert any new tech/innovation or system of control into the narrative and it generally works. Happy to be wrong though because I really wanted it to be more of a bitcoin movie! Did I miss aspects of the movie that work better for the bitcoin narrative than other concepts?

I think not so much bitcoin but fiat. In the way the wool is pulled over the eyes of the masses.

We're presented with this glossy narrative that everything is fine when in reality we're all being fucked. Neo, Morpheus etc are the bitcoiners who see the bullshit for what it is.

Couldn’t agree more. Just saying that this framework applies to any system of control/manipulation. You could insert any of the following: Mainstream media & entertainment Social networking Any societal construct Politics and political messaging Applies on a smaller scale as well. Even personal systems and habits. That’s probably why it’s an ageless cinematic experience. I’ve seen it roughly 20 times myself lol.
