I think it goes a little beyond being "just bitcoin content". It's true there's still a LOT of bitcoin content on nostr, but one thing to also note is most of the popular users here are vocal bitcoiners. Not only that most of the recommendations of who to follow to new nostriches are... vocal bitcoiners. But like you said, until there are communities of normies that not only join, but stick around to actually use nostr, that problem won't be solved.

No, for sure it's not ONLY but you can see how a new user would have that impression, and tbf they're not that wrong, maybe predominantly would be a better word. I think that's a fair impression. And I agree as you say, client recommendations of users and trending posts are not remotely enticing unless you came here for bitcoin content / memes / slogans, which is really not what most 'normie' users are looking for. (I'm using 'normie' slightly grudgingly here, as I don't think non bitcoiners are necessarily normies obvs, I think we can all agree on that lol). Having a little go on satellite.earth and their community section makes me more hopeful, obviously it's still a bit rusty, but I can see it being v useful
