For me, it was meta's creepiness. I also didn't rely on social media for business which I think keeps a lot of people around there. @Purple Painter talked very highly of NOSTR and really we can source this back to him.

This was an in person thing. They hadn’t previously used social media much. I think they liked some of the ideas of Nostr and asked “Should I get on nostr?” And I helped them.
