They lose their power over us as individuals. But it's going to take all of us ignoring them before they actually lose power over society.

History shows that a 10%-15% change of direction by a population is often what is needed for the whole group to shift.
It was true of the American Revolution (Colony Rebellion to the Canadians), along with many others.
