Yes that big pedo rings actually exist is defnitly true as it seems. But I would still say, that one does not get infected by a pedophilic tendency by getting rich or powerful. And I would not say that politicians and powerful people are all one swamp. I am just a big fan of assuming a person innocent until proved guilty. No matter if rich or poor. No matter if powerful or powerless. Since calling a group of people to be all this and that actually only protects the bad actors and illegitimatly defame people without wrongdoing.

I'd say theres a selection bias, positions of power attract people that want power over others, people who seek power over others usually enjoy wielding said power. So saying "the powerful are shitty people" is more likely than not true.
