Yes. Jesus was born in March, but his birth is celebrated in December for “reasons”. Calendars have changed, much as history has been rewritten by political victors.

Jesus was born six months after John the Baptist, according to the biblical record (Luke 1:36), and John was conceived a little after Zachariah's service in the temple, which is an annual event in the late summer or early autumn, if I recall correctly, which puts John's birth in the late spring or early summer the following year, and so Jesus in the early winter.
