Got to record Bible stories in languages that don't have written Scriptures yet. As part of an Oral Bible Storying workshop, people from various languages came together to memorize key stories of the Bible in a storytelling format. This makes God's Word accessible for languages without a written Bible. In this photo, speakers of Namakura, a language from islands northeast of Efate Island, recited portions of Abraham's story. I recorded their stories so they could have a digital copy of their work. Now, speakers of these languages will be able to hear and know of God's gracious kindness to Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael, and us. #vanuatu #efate #language #translation #bibletranslation #biblestorying #bible #flourishing
