Have read it 2x times :) Great book
thatβs a long book π«£π wrote it down as a potential read/listen π«‘
- Sapiens (a brief history of human kind) by Yuval Noah Harari
- No Surrender by Hiroo Onoda
-Auschwitz #34207 by Nancy Sprowell Geise
- Humankind by Rutger Bregman
And here's my reason why I ditched #Audible ! They are in control what you are allowed to read. Fuck that!
Will listen to Sapiens and humankind π«‘ Any alternatives to audible youβve found?
As an app I use all in one app #podcastaddict for podcasts, rss and audiobooks. Where I get audiobooks?

But lately, I mostly listen to podcasts. 30min to 1.5h long podcasts fits perfectly in my way of life and especially my attention span π
Its very long haha but worth it for the storytelling. An epic tale of adventure in the Indian slums.
Good read β
Great read π― I re-read it every year. I wish he still made the hard copy journal.
What is this about?
Its an epic tale but the short of it is an Australian convict escapes prison and hides out in the slums of India, slinking through the underbelly of an otherwise hidden India. Along the way he undergoes a spiritual awakening. The characters are well fleshed out and feel alive. You feel the pain, anguish, and triumph each one undergoes. You follow the main character in and out of prison, running jobs for the mafia, and a whole host of other crazy underworld situations. Despite the story being set in an entirly foreign situation from what most would ever dream to encounter, the parallels of the heart stay true no matter the setting.
Mandibles is one of my recent favorites. Its technically not a bitcoin book and it's fiction but it's one helluvah case for getting some... just in case...
Fiction or non-fiction?
This won't cost you an audible credit - but checkout Mysteries of the Bitcoin Citadel
A fiction podcast about Bitcoin, family secrets, and a mystery unraveling through immersive audio storytelling.
Bitcoin. Secrets. Betrayal.

Other Recommendations:
Fiction: Mandibles, Patriots (Rawles), Tai-pan, Lions of Al-Rassan, Red Rising
Non-Fiction: Bushido of Bitcoin, The Guns of August, The Sovereign Individual
Mandibles is great, read it multiple times. Patriots by James Rawles explores a similar concept but with different result/impact.
We created an Audio Drama - Mysteries of the Bitcoin Citadel
