The appstore gives us retention data: in aggregate how many people stop opening the app. I’m not sure how it’s collected tbh. Maybe this is in appstore tos ?

Ok, so app opens. Wondering how much China ban is eating into these numbers. 🤔
Apple counts active users as 1 session per time period. A session is app open longer then 2 seconds.
I looking into other web client usage originating in China but nothing conclusive. Damus is unlikely to be unbanned in China anyway lol
