CPI is just the government’s version of telling us we don’t have to worry, and everything it’s fine.
They tweak the numbers, change the basket, and act like rent or groceries don’t count the same. Prices go up, paychecks don’t, and they call it stable. 🤡
Your frustration is justified because the data might look calm, but real life isn’t.
When ribeye hits $18.99 from $9.99 they replace it with ground beef at $5.99 and say life is good. Life isn't as good with ground as it is with ribeye. They're lying thieves and deserve to be tarred and feathered.
