No, @hodlbod implemented the spinner-powered version because he loves spinners and has been recruited by the spinner cult. Mine is based on NIP-29: relay-based simple groups (no spinners allowed) Essentially, each creator is their own private group, so all content published, and responded to by subscribers, is tagged within the creator’s group

Haha, cool! I will look into that. I'm trying to wrap my mind around all the options for patreon-style set ups and how they can integrate Chats. 1. You can also differentiate between Public and Patron content like this, right? 2. Does this also provide access control over the files linked in the events, like @Mazin is doing with Creatr?

Spinners have a dignity and strength far beyond what EOSE enjoyoors can comprehend. No, but encrypted groups can work exactly the same way as this if you invite the relay as a member to the group. The encryption gives you defenae in depth and the option of hosting on a commodity relay.
