Genuine privacy question for @Nostrich: Primal’s iOS privacy label says “Data Not Collected.” Nostrich lists Identifiers linked to your identity, plus diagnostics. For a Nostr client built around privacy, what identifier is being collected, why does it need to be linked to the user, and can that collection be disabled? Not a gotcha. I’d genuinely like to understand the difference.

Nothing is being collected on our end. At the time we submitted the app, Apple’s reviewer considered the npub a user identifier. Their interpretation can vary between reviewers and that’s the only reason you’re seeing the “Data Linked to You” disclosure. We’ll try to have it removed in an upcoming version.
