This video is currently circulating in my friends and family WhatsApp group and the wide Muslim community.
They are claiming that Ansarallah of Yemen is firing missiles at Mecca and Medina.
This video is from 2025, when Yemen was firing missiles at Israel. The Saudi government intercepted this missile over Medina and the debris fell in Medina area.
It is a very easy video to fact check but people are easily manipulated and now people are accusing Ansarallah of attacking Mecca and Medina.
A lot of high profile Muslims and influencers living in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States can’t really speak out against the government there.
I feel for them but they live in bubble and can’t really have an honest opinion on the current situation. They’ll get arrested if they spoke out against the government there.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE have caused enormous suffering in Yemen for the last 10+ years. One of the worst famine in modern history happened during the blockade of Yemen.
Yemen and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to end the war in 2023 and for Saudi to lift the blockade.
Saudi Arabia did not lift the blockade on Yemen and bombed airport in Yemen to block flights from taking off and landing.
These are facts but you’ll never find a high profile Muslim living in Saudi Arabia and UAE acknowledge these facts.
