Bitcoin road trip starts this weekend! Heading down towards Seattle/Portland/Bend in the coming weeks. I’ll be searching for meetups, merchants, bitcoiners, and hot springs along the way. Reach out if you have any tips, connections, or recommendations.

Very cool! Would love to do something like this myself one day. I'll be following along from just north of Seattle 👋
Looks like you're going around SD haha but if you find yourself nearby my Cete (meetup) will commence 12/14 and 1/9 (2nd Thursday of the month). There are other bitcoin meetups too, but mine's the best. Lu.ma/sdbitcoiners
The map I drew is rough - I will definitely be in SD - might even stay for a good chunk of the winter to work there. If I’m in town I’ll make it to the meetup!
I’ll be soaking there for sure in a week or two. It’s a classic. Terwilliger and Alvord are my favorites in Oregon.
I’ve never been to alvord, I’ll have to check that one out. We hit Breitenbush and sol duc this last year. Last time I was at cougar (terwilliger) was before they redid it. It was all natural and I haven’t been able to bring myself to go back. Sounds like a fun trip. Do you have pics of some of your tat work?
I don’t have instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc. do you happen to have a website? You should post some pics here on nostr. You may be able to line up clients on your trip for gas money.
On your way down, Bellingham is going to be your best bet. Tho it is slim as far as I know. Further down, we run our Podcast network (Jupiter Broadcasting) on a Bitcoin standard, but we don't have anything for sale!
On BTCmap for Bellingham I see a games store and an Indian restaurant. Have you spent sats at either? Awesome you’re running your business on a bitcoin standard. I’ve been on zero for years myself 😀
No not yet, but I hope to head up there soon and try it out one day. I would love to see more locations on that BTC Map!
