This is actually huge. Hopefully something like a zap comes to centralized video platforms. It will never beat nostr, but a great idea for tether and rumble to try and take on YouTube.

Rumble announces Rumble Wallet The CEO of the video sharing and cloud computing platform, Chris Pavlovski, confirmed the development of Rumble Wallet, adding that it is "a massive internal project which creates a new way for creators to transact" with BTC and USDT. Rumble raised $755 million from Tether last month and has started purchasing Bitcoin for its reserves. Additionally, the platform recently signed a Cloud Agreement with the Government of El Salvador.

I haven't messed with Rumble but buddy was showing me the streaming features last night and I agree, seems like great alternatives to the google machine

It's ok. UI is decent, getting better. The problem is content blows. It's all political stuff. The great value of YouTube is the age and content. You need to repair a car, YouTube. Plumbing, YouTube, etc .... None of that is on rumble

I always associated it with political content so that for sure tracks. I just listened to @jack on citadel dispatch and he made the point that nostr needs more communities like artists and such, I think it's the same observation wrt rumble -- critical mass of varied interests needs to hit.

Without a doubt. I think the key difference for me though is decentralization. We can use it without asking. Not rumble. In time, we are growing. Slowly.

Im obviously new to the space, but totally agree. Will be sweet to witness the tipping point.
