🏗️ This morning I’m at the plant – breakfast is going on in the background, so no bell sound this time 🙂
We’ve already produced two elements for the Nyíregyháza project, and we’re continuing with one element per day. Here you can see the rebar assembly of the next sloped roof element. The freshly poured concrete reaches C35 strength within 48 hours, which means it can be demolded and even transported after just two days. Fresh concrete is still warm – around 40 °C – as it continues to cure.
⚙️ Our production intensity will soon reach the equivalent of 1 house per week, and from next year we expect at least 2 houses per week. One house for us means about 100–120 m² of living space. This means a family house can be structurally complete in just 2 days: once the elements are produced, they are lifted from the trucks and assembled on-site, and then the trades can move in.
🔩 This is the well-known H-element, a box element with two wings, onto which the U-shaped element fits. It weighs 13–14 tons, and we managed to produce it within 1 centimeter accuracy — crucial for on-site assembly.
🛠️ For lifting, we use a lifting beam (himba) that weighs 2.5 tons itself but can carry up to 25 tons. The house elements mostly weigh 10–15 tons, which is why we rely on 30-ton cranes for safe and precise handling.
🚀 Next year we’ll be running 4 molds per day, and we plan to develop our own molds to further improve efficiency.
Follow along — I’ll keep showing you as much as possible from the process (though not everything can be shared 😉).
