I've always enjoyed the odd story about curious characters that have been different from the rest of us.
The adventures of Petro Zailenko are no different. Born in Russia, Petro ended up in California under dubious circumstances, and he eventually fled into the woods to avoid immigration authorities. He spent the rest of his life living as a hermit in the forests of northern California.
