Looks like March of 2024 was the first one i listened to, guest was Eric Voskuil. I think you make mostly strawman arguments, at least on social media. I don't know who is supposedly saying that Lightning is the "one and only" scaling solution. It only "works well for 1% of users" is just plain nonsense. Maybe only 1% meet your Bitcoin Purity standard of completely self hosted Lightning infrastructure. A custodial solution with a small amount of spending Bitcoin is Lightning working for many more than 1% of users. By the way, I just zapped you from my self hosted (not node in a box) Core Lightning node and I receive zaps with my self hosted BTCPay Server.
