Learning digital sovereignty the hard way (sledgehammer version): I got banned on LinkedIn a year ago. 30k plus followers... Poof! 🔥 One of my savings accounts got frozen from the bank. An account I need to withdraw money from from time to time as a self employed person. 2 months of Gestapo interrogation about justifications where I got my money from and how I intend to spend it. For MY OWN FUCKING MONEY!!! The did not find evidence and gave back access. Zero apologies. 🖕 The only centralized platform left for SM that I use is X. Insta, Tik Tok gone. Facebook? Haven't used it in almost a decade. Thanks for this great learning curve and this awesome #nostr community! Finally I made the leap to be Nostr exclusive and it feels like a breath of fresh air. X stays up for announcements only. This is the right move. The community here is real, the conversations are better, and most importantly I own my identity and my data. No platform standing between me and the people I want to reach. Now back to building. #NostrOnly image

The escalation demonstrates a chillingly effective application of networked surveillance – the algorithm’s ban followed by state-level seizure feels less like isolated incidents and more like a coordinated pressure tactic.

LinkedIn's censorship, JP Morgan's freeze, same masters, different puppets.

Substack is still better though. Not everyone has a nostr pubkey. But everyone has an email.
