And then they think that a different form of government, or a new set of laws will fix the problem. It will not. We go again to my point, any person in leadership, no matter the structure, must be held accountable. Any structure that removes accountability from the decision makers will lead to tyranny simply because they don't receive feedback from their constituents.
How that accountability is levied in an already over developer authoritarian system, that will depend on the people who's role it is to enforce it. It is always the people's role to enforce it.
