Hey #nostr heads. #GM
What is the best way to manage multiple Nostr accounts? Is there a way to have them both on nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm extension, and easily switch between both?

Yes. You just keep adding wallets to it.
Hmm ok and does it give you a new set of #nostr keys ? I hit the + button on the Alby extension - it looks like it mirrored my original account
In Amethyst you can have multiple accounts and easily switch between one account and another.
Browser profiles are your answer.
ha ! there it is. thank you.
You don't need browser profiles, the extension supports multiple profiles / wallets there.
Simply "Add new wallet" in our extension, it will ask you to connect a lightning node and will generate random keys for you - that you can replace with your existing ones
It generates new set of #nostr keys, that you can replace.
Lightning connection in this wallet is independent from nostr keypairs
ok nice and I can use the public key created to sign into a new primal account etc ? and the wallets will be different ?
I assume I have to open another channel on the extension as well.
You can do whatever you want with that public key, the new keypairs are random, you can use it on Primal, or you can drop it and forget it.
Wallets are independend from Nostr keys there, it can be different, can be the same - depends which one you link initially when adding new wallet in the extension.

Extension is *just* an interface, there are no channels nor channel management. It uses some node (like Alby Hub, or shared by Coinos, or your Start9, etc.) and that node manages channels. If you connect the extension to your existing Alby Hub with channels, there is no need to open more
