Adam is OG & a true Bitcoiner. I find that hard to imagine.
Being OG and having poor customer service doesn’t say to me anything. I been pinging them bug issue for over 2 months when you replace transaction by fees and it was replaced their Green wallet still shows as pending and the wrong balance!
I kind agree. I migrated from Blockstream Green to Bitkey because I wasn't comfortable with some bugs. I don't think they are professionals.

I see that they release updates with so many bugs. So I decided to migrate from Green Wallet to Bitkey.
Personally I've only had good experience when dealing with them. They addressed this one for me rather quickly.

I’ve asked them like 3 or 4 times for what they need to collect so much data when using Aqua Wallet. No answer at all

For me it is. I'm loving it. I don't need to care about save seeds anymore.
As far as technology,
Jade uses a new technology called a virtual secure chip, basically breaks your seed up, encrypts part of it and puts in on their server called an oracle. You can create your own oracle if you want. Their oracle does not have the whole seed or the owner. You can keep your own seed words.
BitKey uses multisig, one key on your phone, one on their server, one on the rock device. The one on your phone can be encrypted and saved in your iCloud. You can not keep your own seed words.
I don’t use either so just an observation in tech.

You said you have bugs reported that are never fixed too, right?
Only what I can recommend is that you shouldn’t use custodial wallets or if you do then very tiny amount of sats!
