Lmao I always wondered how endgrain would behave in a thicknesser.. Good to know that it fucking explodes 😂👀 ATM these are my thicknessers, I'm in the market for a nice planer, but I don't wanna spend a fortune image

Nice till I’d love that #7 For thickness planers I had the snipe monster delta for years, tuned it and gave it to my boy I have the older version of this Cutech model, didn’t expect it to be as good as it is . Made a little sled for it and I can get down to 1/8” inches in tough interlocking grain . There is still snipe of a few thousand but can be managed easily with sacrificial boards or feeding back to back Just remembered I haven’t fead this thing any endgrain yet Might not explode?! image
Whoa that's seems to be a nice thicknesser. Unfortunately Amazon Italy either has cheap Chinese junk or overprized decent stuff like the DeWalt 735 with flat blades at a whopping 800€ or a mid Metabo at 550€. Yeah that #7 costed me a bit, but it's a joy to use. I only wish I would find some additional blades for replacement. The one it came with is too pitted on the back for my taste.
Bro anything is better than a damn Einhell or a Schwepp combo jointer/thicknesser @ 300€ I had this exact model, it has a SINGLE blade, produces terrible surfaces, has at least 3mm of snipe and 180db of deafening noise. Let's not talk about the fact that pursuing 90° was just a dream. Couldn't get rid fast enough, sold it for 200€ image
