Not to get too graphic, but a single 200 yard shot of a small, moving target from an elevated position…
That’s not some guy that got angry and bought a gun at Walmart last week.
That’s someone who has sighted in a rifle, loads his own ammo so that he knows the grain #, knows how relative weather conditions will factor in, etc.
That’s a miss for 99.9% of people but the assassin only had to shoot once.
Plus he (presumably a male) had a spot picked out and clear escape as he is still at large.
And let’s not pretend like shooting people is easy. I’ve shot deer and it’s extremely hard to stay calm. I can’t imagine the gravity of aiming at a human being.

I'm not sure how your reply would be "graphic" but understand given the current generations sentiment of being triggered.
150m is more likely. I grew up in a community where shooting deer at this range was not uncommon.
Loading their own ammo? I disagree wholeheartedly. I hit this range of targets very easily during qualifications in the military with crappy training ammo with iron sights, no optics.... And sighting in iron sights for this range is realitivley easy to learn if you are motivated to learn shooting basics. It doesn't require somebody to be trained. Just an understanding of marksmanship basics.
I agree targeting a human is a different requirement of staying calm.
I don't understand how you would say this is presumably a male. I grew up with country girls that could shoot as good, if not better, than their brothers.
It's the US. You just named like 150 million people.
One thing we can say for sure is this will push Epstein and every other news story off the agenda for a while.
Hmmm…
