It feels like the younger generation has forgotten all the bad things that come with socialism and only see the roses in it. Not sure if education became a complete shit (yes, you should have studied history in school to at least have some basic understanding of the world dynamics) or people got bored with the current ways. Hard to say, but I am sure there is no simple answer, like with anything in life. It’s all about tradeoffs and balances, nothing is absolute in life. πŸ«‘πŸ€”

I was "lucky" enough to be born in Communism but, on the other side, I got tired of explaining how bad it is. In the end, no Western communists, for lack of a better term, want to move to any Communist country. 🀷

Denmark, Sweden etc. More than ever but the social security, free public health and transportation is pretty socialist
Some basic infrastructure is important for the free market to function, as long as it’s kept in check. Healthcare is great for a productive society, great healthcare is even better.
