I've heard enough misconceptions for one day, any more and I'm going to hurl.
It's sad how many eager and smugly-wrong nostr-haters have come out to diss on nostr because Apple isn't approving Damus.
nostr != damus
lightning != zaps
blockchain != bitcoin
fiatjaf != Jack Dorsey

We must have different sources, mine say @jack is the creator of Damus 😂
I thought he was the CEO of Nostr?!
Wait what…
Nope he’s just the guy hosting all the nostr servers is his basement
Where you seeing this? 🙃
We need a is Nostr dead? website 🤣
nostr is not a corporation.
It's a protocol like https.
There is no CEO of https.
There is no CEO of nostr.
arewedeadyet.nostr
I need a convenient highlight tool to highlight the last != so classic haha
The oddest thing ever. They don’t even want to take the time to understand. It’s now “don’t trust don’t verify.”

Oh they know the score. It's called take advantage of you for as long as they can. Until you catch on..🧡🤠🗽
What if the strategy to win this is not to keep pushing it forward right now but through other means? Perhaps showcasing the value of the global transaction taping cities Apple has not been able to penetrate before. Or the value of content through the high rise of influencer campaigns, or specific events (fundraising, etc). Or perhaps through other technical means micro-apps (as in-app, freemium) instead of direct integration. Maybe being ok with the option to use apple pay if ppl want to. How do we showcase the demand and hype, or perhaps a strategy to build that hype?
This has just been on my mind, there are no specific solutions here – but just a thought process that maybe winning this battle requires different tactics. It may seem like we have lost the battle now, but every time we find an alternative path and rise, Nostr will just become stronger
