I feel like a lot of people on Nostr (and I do mean a LOT) need to see this video.
For those not in the know, Michael Franzese is a former caporegime (captain) in the Colombo crime family (aka. mafia). At the height of his career, he was drawing in $8 million a week by defrauding the government and conducting both illegal and legal business. He went up against Rudy Giuliani himself and won in most cases (basically being caught up on a technicality more than anything). He knows how the US government works beneath the surface and has even written about it in his book, "Mafia Democracy".
He uses both common logic and his own experiences to tear down some of the really ill-informed theories out there. I know most of us on Nostr aren't the sort to believe the common narrative, and that's not a BAD thing, but sometimes... a crime is just a crime. Sometimes, it's not about some global conspiracy. Sometimes, it's just a tragedy.
