Republicans at this time are pro the individual, hence this action.
Democrats are pro collectivism, hence the censorship via the industrial complex under government threat when they were in power.
I like your approach (build unbreakable p2p) but also vote for those with the same ideology that backs individual freedom (noting people and parties change over time).
