Well I'm not an expert, but the one that immediately sticks out is monetization. Built-in zaps means built-in permissionless monetization. I think that's the big thing Nostr has on every competitor.
More broadly I think because of Nostr's "note-based" architecture it has the possibility of becoming much more than just social media, I.e. projects like Alexandria, decentralized Wiki's, etc.

Completely agree, but there’s absolutely zero reason an entrepreneurial Bitcoin developer can’t fork one of the several popular open-sourced Bluesky clients and integrate zaps.
In the other direction, there’s no reason a nostr developer can’t integrate the Starter Packs that Bluesky has for user discovery.
try forking a bluesky client and see if you get any traction
How easy is it to integrate Zaps with a federated model? Is the server hosting the zaps now acting as a money transmitter? Do they have an obligation to obey OFAC?
The reason other apps don't deploy zap-like things is Apple and Google policy. Most have the rails.
