Bitcoin node hardware requirements are growing at increased pace since spam attack and unfortunately bitcoiners still talk more about upgrades to the bitcoin than fixing existing vulnerabilities (i.e filters, witness discount) and decreasing blocksize.
WE DON'T NEED ANY NEW FEATURES (AT LEAST UNTIL SPAMMERS RAGE QUIT).
WE DO NEED SMALLER BLOCKSIZE.
