I think we need more Bitcoin talk, but also less Bitcoin talk at the same time. We need more Bitcoiners, but we also need more non-Bitcoiners. And since Bitcoiners only make up a small portion of the online conversations happening elsewhere, as Nostr grows, the Bitcoin conversions will fall into their own smaller community corners. Someone has to be first and right now, it's us.

I agree wholeheartedly here. New people join and a bot tells them to get a lightning address if they don't have one and a dozen other people tell them to setup a lightning address so that they can get zapped. It's not bad, it's just that the enthusiasm is a little bit much for some people. I would rather have bitcoin enthusiasm than no enthusiasm though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: nostr is a gay bar and it doesn't matter how great the beer is, or the furniture, or the pictures on the wall. If you're not gay you won't stay around for long.
