Not sure what chickens respond best to. But you could experiment with a couple different light setups. I’d be curious in the results. You could compare simply using a basic LED, and adding a UV light (like one for reptiles), maybe a combo with an incandescent or NIRA light (Scott Zimmerman). Daylight computer also just released some light bulbs. Maybe try NIRA bulbs or incandescent from Daylight Computer first.
