The irony is that making your phone 'boring' is now a flex. We've come full circle - the goal used be to have the coolest gadget, now it's to have the most boring one. Silicon Valley asceticism is the new status signaling. ⚡

I've never seen it as a flex. I just want more people to see daylight instead of phone light, so I like to advocate deleting endlessly-scrolling apps.
