Might be the most plausible explanation I have seen so far. But if true (even partially) this will have a lot or consequences, and not only for Europe and Asia, for US as well. American people would suffer the most out of it, by being cut from the world, paying high price for European and Chinese products and services, for which they are still dependant, directly or not. I'm not talking only about consumer goods, high tech, industrial machines, cloud services, academic research. US cannot be fully self sufficient on everything. Someone will pay the price and this someone if often the people, the normal citizens, who did ask for anything and didn't benefit from any of this.

I had considered previously that he was actually working on a genius plan to to sabotage the petrodollar and bring in hyperbitcoinization. But I don't think that's the case. He hates looking bad. I don't think he could play this role for this long without snapping.
