OK, #longform roundup once again... Decent Newsroom: Buggy and glitchy, bad UI Longform.space : Buggy and glitchy, bad UI Habla.news : Editing back online, but very barebones, no apparent support for drafts? Yakihonne: I guess it's technically a longform editor, but the feature is buried under a bunch of other stuff. Also, no draft support. ...anything I missed?

Nowhere can you see the limits of the "just vibe code it!" approach better then in Longform Nostr clients. These things are spit out, and then left to rot on the side of the road. Or they're strapped to some dumb Fiat monetization scheme, like Longform seems to be trying to do. It's like, bro, you're not going to get people to sign onto your "premium" product if your "freemium" is buggy junk.

Hey nostr:nprofile1qqs2lys4fd8aqq5jgqcnsmm3xvas4lvhgxs8daw88z7zvqa9kkwkw8ck6aupc we do support both local and on relays drafts on Yakihonne, the local drafts is saved automatically, while you can either save it as a draft or publish it on relays, this is available on both mobile and web

oooh boy a Dev! OK so in all the other long-form editors, there is a place for the "title image" as well as a "subtitle" or "description" field -- both things that clients tend to surface in the "feed" view. Most other editors also have a special place to put hashtag topics. Yaki doesn't seem to have either of these... or at least it's very non-obvious in the UI.

Yes, we do have these too, but you will find them on the last step of publising, while leaving the user to write on a wider editor not disturbed by any additional fields at first, the thumbnail, description.. etc will popup on the “next” step once you finish writing and you’re about to publish your article 😄

ohhh OK. I would suggest surfacing that earlier. Unlike Kind 1 notes, longforms are something that the user is going to be editing over and over again until it's "just right." I don't want to worry about hitting the "next" button and having that mean "poof it's published!"
