Thanks for continuing to have these really interesting conversations.... The question came to mind, in the discussion RE alternative PDS systems and community moderation, is this just "Mastodon with extra steps"?
Does AT protocol, even if we're talking about many diverse PDS's like what BlackSky is starting to create, inherently lead towards more centralized systems (and therefore more legal risk) than ActivityPub?
It's hard to square the ambition "we want 1billion+ users" with the idea that these platforms won't fall into the same governance traps as all of the other major social networks of the past 20 years...
