I don't want this to come off as antagonistic, because it is genuine curiosity; but how do we, as a community, square the circle of the the many many downsides that AI brings as well as the agenda of those who are spearheading it. I ask because I have a lot of caution about AI for multiple reasons. But, I also see how AI is helping people with great ideas and no coding skills create fantastic pieces of software. My question is: Do those small pieces of software outweigh the tidbits we throw the beast? Again, please don't take this as adversarial; I struggle with this question a lot.
