I have empathy and honesty I hope that the victims are getting support, whatever the video is referencing is most likely absolutely vile. I was responding to the tone of the post which was ‘look at this really horrible thing now and get angry about it’ and it’s not something I want to take on board. I’m the same way with many forms of death and destruction that occasionally appear on my timeline. In hindsight I should’ve just ignored the post but the tone encouraged a response. I didn’t watch the video, nor do I want to and again, I hope the victims are getting support for whatever horrific shit they’ve been put through.

Thats understandable, it's absolutely horrific but the head in the sand mentality is a reflection the establishment has taken to this issue for decades which has perpetuated it. Thats why you getting flak for it.

My personal choice not to interact with horrific content online is unrelated to 'the establishment'. I've had a search to what's going on in the country right now, some horrific events have happened and a bunch of goons are looking to make political capital out if it. Meanwhile the UK State, unsurprisingly, continues to be shit. It is what it is and me being angry about it won't do anything to make things better.
