A few days ago I turned down a 50% discount on some small items to avoid having to sign up for yet another rewards program. The employee behind the counter genuinely could not comprehend why I wouldn't want to give my full name, number, and email to save $7. He looked at me like I was crazy, and I felt a little crazy, but that's just business as usual being a bitcoiner. I challenged him to the same thing I challenge everyone to in that situation. Try to go a week without giving anyone your personal information. If you make it a week, go for two. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
