We have a very close farmer friend & wife who have been a neighbor at farmers markets with us for 20 years. He is younger, has two children of whom we are very fond. He once had three. His eldest shot himself at the age of 10 with one of the family guns. They always went fishing, hog hunting, foraging for mushrooms, milling wood, and the boy was very comfortable in the mill, woods, around guns, and an accomplished tennis player, with many reasons to live.
She is native Peruvian, taking regular trips back to Peru, so the children know their antecedents in that country. Both parents were crushed, devastated at the child’s death, becoming hollow shells of themselves for years.
He finally went to Costa Rica, and self-prescribed ayahuasca, with a group of experienced enthusiasts, deep in the rainforest, to hopefully release him from his emotional spiral, and help him process the pain. He wanted be more present for his young children, who were suffering, too, (as they loved their elder brother very much, and they did not understand why he would choose to leave them).
Our friend said it was an intense, spiritual experience, and definitely helpful, but not for someone as fragile as his wife (who was, piled on with suffering at that time, recovering from breast cancer). He said it was not for everyone, but it helped him.
This may have little to do with a nutritional cleanse, but I felt this is a sort of cleanse, too.
It is unlikely that the average person will encounter a "totally clean" man or woman while still living in the typical society. It is possible that in order to completely rid oneself of the parasites, in theory, one should stay silent and away from any potential carriers/hosts. That would be very difficult on a whole population scale.
We should instead strive for not total purity, at first, but getting a little bit cleaner in our lives every day, reevaluate progress, and switch tactics as needed. I barely "eat out" anymore, quite picky with restaurants and groceries, and still on occasion misguess.
I do not do anything extreme. After a recent visit to hot/cold natural springs with some ozonated waters, steam room, constant sun exposure, and strenuous walks I do feel much better. On a regular schedule while in the city, the herbal medicine comes into play, as well as other cleansing tactics like salt baths. Fasting is difficult when you are unclean, so at least start with cleaner foods, locally sourced. Ayahuasca? Mushroom microdosing? Nicotine and high-content cannabis?
I wonder if it could take years for people with autoimmune diseases... the reality is that most people do not even follow the bare minimum hygiene practices...
