Unfortunately since my whole career has been in tech, I've seen such products come and go since they find mass adoption impossible.
Question is more like if I'm learning a new language (Duolingo or R/Duolingo on Reddit), playing the guitar (guitarchords, discord servers or R/guitar equivalent on Reddit, or any other niche activity like voice chat (Clubhouse), why would I go to an entirely new platform as opposed to an established, age old space with answers, like even Quora had to reinvent itself quite a few times.
Might be just me as a power user in tech, maybe my response is not as valid, but I've spent my whole career seeing Twitter born and launch, Orkut, MySpace, Discord (when noone knew it), Discourse (remember them? Great product, no adoption), Telegram (several crypto groups use it as default since many years), etc..
Guess my answer is more like don't reinvent the wheel if it's a long term goal for you. If it's a fun side project for friends and fam, go for it. It all depends 🤓

It makes sense. I just felt like there is no such app like the one we want to build. I don't see a place where I can easily go and find my topic instantly have a room to talk and chat and use AI with others in one place. Discord is solid but it has no search for topics. It'll be very difficult to get people on the app at first, I agree.
Long term idea could also be something like the infrastructure for modern day school's or group learning. Or a place where you can just chat with people with the same interests easily.

All schools have e-learning subscriptions to annual products or their own intranet with the features you're talking about. Friend's kids study in many such schools/univs.
Clubhouse, Reddit do what you say and they've now incorporated AI too.
Guess just pushing this topic so you and yours won't take over my tech debt and waste your time.
Mayhaps you'll get inspired to focus on building something more #SolarPunk in nature - something for the greater good rather than a 3rd Discord and 5th Clubhouse.
Something to further the #FreedomTech cause instead ;))
