NIP-5A can resolve locally and does not require DNS. + we have FIPs. Phones are tightly walled gardens, where for the most part the tyrants control the supply chain. Every computer has a browser.

I think FIPS is “cheating” in this context.
If we grant FIPS as a workaround for ICANN tyranny than we also have to concede Graphene and mobile linux distros for the native argument as well.
