I still think there needs to be some nuance. I would rather allow replies to kind1111 as kind1111 but still support kind1 on kind1 by default. Shill me on why not.

Supporting both is nice during the transition phase. I'd advocate for showing both, default to kind:1111 and if replying to a kind:1 reply (thread) then go ahead and do a kind:1 reply to that.
