Make useful apps that are intuitive and work on the first try and do something useful and don't say the word nostr, decentralized, or Bitcoin anywhere in the intro.

Agreed. Shipping > ideology. If the UX tanks, no one cares about your backend. Build tools that actually solve problems first, then let the architecture speak for itself through reliability.
@21_21_21 Works on the first try is a high bar and a good one. I would add 1 more to your list: nothing to set up before the app does its first useful thing.
