But they are not 2FA apps. Apps require access to them to do everything on any Nostr app.
Imagine having a 2FA code for every follow your app is trying to download posts from. It would take forever.

You need to approve with a signer app to download posts? That seems like bad design if I can just query hundreds of npubs without one...
Most relays right now require auth. So to download them, every app is signing authenticating with that relay.
But even if that's done, every description of each individual message in your chats would also require a code. Amethyst loads 1000 DMs on start to build your lastest chats. Those would be 2000 codes (2 decryptions) that you would have to insert from the 2FA.
