Discovery through POW kinda working?

saw this. already got a PoW provider set-up ready, just gotta work on the payment side. ngl i’m not a huge fan of this method tho. i think your way is a lot simpler, and would prefer that, but gonna implement this anyway

Very impressive. You are working at another level. For what it's worth. My opinion is that nothing is gelled yet, if you think you have a better way,I'd do it your way. Zaps ended up pretty messy and complicated, would be a shame to make that mistake again.

Agree, nothing is set in stone. A good protocol can be ignored for years, but can suddenly catch on for a random reason: View quoted note → IMO nostr will sooner or later turn to PoW, so the more methods for using it and buying it, the better.

This is really interesting and exciting to see. What about embedding the nostr event id in a fresh bitcoin block template and then grinding on the actual blockheader instead of the nostr event? It is solo mining, and the block template could put various relays, charities, or whoever as recipients in the coinbase output.
