Bitcoin provides an opportunity to "shake the anxiety of work" before you ever seriously consider quitting. But unlike number go up, this part doesn’t feel good. Shedding the fear bred into each of us requires sacrifice and submission; embracing the uncertainty left behind requires patience and deliberate practice. Like the Magic Mirror in Snow White, Bitcoin just reveals the truth inside each of us. The real revolutionary action is embracing this truth, individually and collectively. @HODL

Like @HODL, I woke up on Wednesday not thinking much about Kirk. Since his assassination, I can’t watch his videos without getting upset and often crying. What captivates me is the manner and context of the dialogue - surrounded by young people, in a public space dedicated to learning, he facilitates a civil dialogue about the most politically charged topics of our time. The contrast created by the events of this week reveal deep beauty in these dialogues. Even the smallest respectful gestures by either Kirk or his debate partner are magnified in a way that wrenches my heart. The debate itself is drowned out by the space between, the body language of the person not speaking, the attention of the crowd, etc. Why it took his brutal death to reveal the beauty hidden in these videos is something we should all ponder.

Today republicans passed the one big beautiful bill. A massive spending bill that steals from future generations. Dems would’ve done the same thing and spent the money a little different. This reckless spending is bad for Americans and guarantees that our money will continue to be stolen from us via dilution of the money supply. Meanwhile we have a finite digital asset in Bitcoin offering a life raft to the masses. Anyone can jump on at any time without permission. The only pre-req is courage. Courage to take the exit and leave the old, dying system behind.
